On Food

Only a few things compare to the feeling of giving to others the beauty and complete sensory experience that is afforded by a wholesome, comforting, divine, maybe elaborate, or even simple meal. Here I will share my cooking, my joy from gathering loved ones around the table to delight in a meal together, talk with one another, and thoroughly enjoy the time to be in the moment. After all, “there are things you do because they feel right and they may make no sense and it may be the real reason we are here: to eat each other’s cooking and say it was good.”
